LOOK: The Department of Agriculture – National Dairy Authority (DA-NDA) Southern Mindanao Department attended a meeting with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region XII on Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty on February 15, 2022 in Koronadal City.
The convergence meeting aimed to strategize the implementation of Inter-Agency Task Force Zero Hunger, created under Executive Order No. 101, which aims to mitigate hunger, ensure food nutrition security, and establish sustainable agriculture by 2030.
The DA-NDA is one of the partner agencies that provides livelihood opportunities to farmers through its dairy animal distribution and enterprise development programs. It has dispersed dairy animals and developed dairy production areas in Region XII which paved the way for the creation of livelihoods in the locality.
