NDA provides marketing support to farmers amid COVID-19

With the challenges that the local dairy industry faces due to the COVID-19 crisis, the National Dairy Authority (NDA) has explored various strategies to extend marketing assistance and other support services to dairy farmers and processors.

To help its dairy partners sell their milk, the NDA used the social media to advertise their products and to disseminate information on the nutritional and health properties of milk that are beneficial in boosting one’s immune system. Along with this, the NDA has set up milk outlets in its central and regional offices and in several Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita sites nationwide to provide a stable market for its dairy partners even during the quarantine period.
