This year’s KABISIG Philippine Government Expo and Trade Fair was a success! The event officially opened on July 10, 2018 at the Activity Center of Trinoma in Quezon City.
The National Dairy Authority (NDA) together with two of its assisted dairy enterprises: MOOLK CREAMERY and FARM to FORK PRODUCERS participated in the said expo.
With the aim of promoting local dairy products in the mainstream market, MOOLK CREAMERY and FARM to FORK PRODUCERS, made a blast by showcasing their products to the shoppers in the mall. These new industry players gave dairy a new flavor that is not only good for the health but for the total well-being. They also made the local dairy products more affordable to local consumers.
For NDA, the KABISIG expo provided a venue for the promotion of its programs that are available not only for the farmers but for other dairy enthusiasts who would like to venture into dairy enterprises; local government units (LGUs) that are interested in co-sponsoring milk feeding programs in their localities to abate malnutrition; and young farmers who are interested in dairy animal production and milk processing.
During the three day expo, Moolk Creamery showcased their organic products such as pastillas de leche, fresh pasteurized milk and chocomilk, creamy yogurt and milk bars. Milk bars come in a variety of flavors like avocado, strawberry, mango and melon.
Farm to Fork Products Outlet came in with more products to boot like Yogurt drinks, melon milk, kesong puti, yema-pastillas and their best seller - lecheese flan which was featured in Pinas Sarap Show hosted by Kara David.
