Agrilink, AquaLink and FoodLink 2018 participants learn how to prepare Dulce de Leche

As part of its dairy business enhancement program and its campaign for local milk consumption, the National Dairy Authority (NDA) conducted a free seminar on milk processing during the Agrilink, AquaLink and FoodLink 2018 held on October 5, 2018 at the World Trade Center lobby.
Using locally produced milk as the main ingredient, NDA Project Development Officer Mr. Warren C. Pagdato led a cooking demonstration of Dulce de Leche, a caramelized spread that is traditionally prepared by simmering milk and sugar on low heat.
While doing the step-by-step demonstration, Mr. Pagdato explained the health benefits of consuming milk and dairy products, particularly the locally produced ones. He also encouraged the participants to start their own dairy business, providing details on the available NDA programs which they can avail of.
Right after the cooking demonstration was a tasting session where audience were able to try the prepared milk spread and have their questions addressed by the resource person as well.
