In yet another successful bid to showcase dairy products, the National Dairy Authority (NDA) once again joined the World Food Expo @ 18 (WOFEX), the ultimate food experience at the World Trade Center, from August 1-4, 2018 with NDA-assisted dairy enterprises Farm to Fork Product Outlet of GGATJECK Farms and MOOLK Creamery both of Tanay, Rizal province.
MOOLK Creamery brought in their best products of yogurt, fresh and chocolate milk, pastillas de leche and milk bars while Farm to Fork showcased their flavored yogurt of melon, mango and blueberry. “Lecheese Flan” was their best seller for the duration. They also have various dairy candies like pastillas de yema and kesong puti.
The four-day food show generated a combined total sales of P70,000 for the two NDA-assisted dairy enterprises. This goes to show that consumers are now aware that local dairy products are available in the market and are very much comparable with imported products. Aside from being affordable, these two young dairy enterprises have shown that local products can compete in an influx of highly subsidized dairy products in the market.
NDA’s way of promoting these locally produced dairy products is by joining trade events and exposition for better mileage and generic marketing as a whole.
WOFEX has been a consistent partner in bringing in multinational players and other producers and suppliers. There are stakeholders of the food service industry as well. The best way to understand products is to see their application in the work place. Some of the best chefs in the world also shared their expertise. WOFEX Marketplace is the venue to promote to a wider audience and for order taking of the market ready–produce from all over the world.
