Last May 13, 2022, the Department of Agriculture-National Dairy Authority South Luzon Department held its 1st Quarter Area Assessment at the Southern Tagalog Integrated Agricultural Research Center (STIARC) in Lipa City, Batangas. Dr. Farrell Benjelix C. Magtoto, Administrator, Ms. Lolita A. Balagosa, OIC-Chief, CORPLAN were in attendance together with their support staff.

Dr. Magtoto gave his inspiring message on the different government thrusts which will eventually help in boosting the dairy industry. He emphasized the need to review all the challenges and look for the solution for the improvement of the agency performance. Also, he stressed the need to be in the frontline of the war against malnutrition.
Area Targets and Accomplishments (ATA) for the 1st Quarter was presented followed by reports of all field personnel. The team led by Dr. Magtoto shared their suggestions and positive comments with regard to the data being collected per respective area.

At the end of the activity, there were agreements made to address the different issues and concerns and improve the area performance.
