The Department of Agriculture-National Dairy Authority conducted a training on Dairy Processing on February 17, 2022 at Barangay Tuyabang Alto, Oroquita City, Misamis Occidental.

A total of 20 members of the Tuyabang Alto Agrarian Reform Community Cooperative (TAARCCO) participated in the training. TAARCO is one of the beneficiaries of the DA-NDA’s Intensified Community-Based Dairy Enterprise Development Project. During the training, the participants learned to process fresh milk, flavored milk, milk bar, and white cheese.

Organized by the NDA-Northern Mindanao Department, the activity aimed to equip the farmer-beneficiaries with both theoretical and technical knowledge on dairy processing to enable them to boost their income and develop sustainable dairy business enterprise.
